review 1: I really enjoy this genre, and it's hard to find CLEAN books that I can recommend to everyone. This is one that I can. It's an easy read, plot and characters are easy to follow, and it's well written. I'm not sure why everyone has to fall in love...in this case the character needed something precious to her that would be at risk, so I guess it makes sense. There's a great twist at the end that leads into the next book, and I look forward to reading it!(movie rating: PG)
review 2: I actually found this book thoroughly enjoyable. Of coarse It has a few minor upsets, but what book doesn't? It was an entertaining story. A lot happens within the first book so it never leaves you bored. Although the romance felt a bit forced and the characters could use more deve... moreloping, the imagery was fantastic and it created an imaginative and interesting fantasy world. It was also well written, unlike many other free ebooks I've seen on the market.Of coarse, I've always had an affinity for witches and magic, so it's no question as to why I gave it four stars. less
