review 1: What a great, albeit heart-wrenching, conclusion to this series. I didn't expect so many deaths, that was hard. I was happy with the way Eviana finally stood up for herself and took back control of her life. Everything came to a powerful climax and the story was resolved in a good way. It wasn't "happily ever after" as much as "this is how it's meant to be" and I liked that about this book. It wasn't all fairy tales and we kill the bad guy and ride off into the sunset. There were real loses and real life changing events. I definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves a good paranormal story, as well as anyone who loves a dramatic adventure!
review 2: Wow the conclusion to this great romantic trilogy. What more can you ask for? Thrilling suspense ... morewith action, forged alliances and betrayal happening almost around every corner. Deep secrets a unveiled, wars fought,some unexpected tragedies and an ending that will had me smiling and crying at the same time.In this finale we continue with the story being told from the POV of Eviana and Kain. Eviana has just been captured by her new found father, and just found out that she has been betrothed while preparing for an impending war. Her father's true intentions are not too clear- I would say he was a bit on the psychotic side. When she thought she had made up her mind on her feelings for Graham she starts second guessing The time is now to pick your side , do you want to be a part of the legacy? As everything comes crashing down Eviana faces the toughest decisions she has ever had to make. War is here. Kain refuses to loose Eviana, but does that mean self sacrifice? Great read great conclusion to this trilogy. less
