review 1: I have to be honest when I read the title "Captured by the Pirate Laird", I was not sure about it...Pirate?....Scottish Laird? Once I started to read the book and was getting to know Anne's situation and then meeting Calum McLeod and understanding his plight....I was more intrigued. It was to the extent that I could not put the book down. Not only were there wonderful sizzling love scenes, but there was so much more. I do not like reviews that give to much away, so I will not do that. I know, because I read so many books frequently, that I can recommend this book because it was just great. I look forward to book two of The Highland Force; The Henchman.
review 2: I absolutely loved this book!! On her way to the husband she has never met, Anne is kidnapped
... morealong with the ship she is sailing on. Busting down the door to her room, the pirate discovers her. He is taken with her beauty but doesn't know what to do with her. Finding out she is the wife of his greatest enemy, Calum devises a plan to ransom her back. He doesn't plan on his untamable attraction to her, or hers for him. Anne doesn't know what to do with her feelings for Calum. Knowing she is already wed to another they share stolen kisses but that is all. When she is returned and Calum is captured, she finds out how truly cruel her new husband is. Upon hearing of Calum's escape she knows she must find her way back to him. Can she make it back to her Pirate Laird and finally be happy. This is a must read!!! less
