review 1: Amy Reed caught my attention with this one. I fell in love with her writing. This book left that dull ache in my chest. It was so raw and honest. Thoroughly impressed. In the beginning I couldn't decide which character I related with more. Toward the end, I felt like I'm much like Max. We think the same way. I can empathize with her based on the people in my life. Amy Reed understands me. Outstanding read. I haven't connected with a book like this in a long time.
