review 1: Clean by Amy Reed, shows so many different personalities and points of views that really show readers how those who are struggling, are coping. This book revolves around a small group of teens with their own set of problems and who are trying to get better. While reading Clean, you get a sense on how people dealing with mental illness, anger issues or any other issue, feel and react to certain situations. Its as if you are in that person's shoes, that is how good this book is. This book will change how you talk to people, how you react to certain things, but most of all will teach you that no one's life is perfect but in the end, everything will be alright only if you make an effort to do so.
review 2: Okay so I didn't hate it but I didn't love it. She did a go
... moreod job on the characters addictions, just character establishment was good. Setting establishment was not really there. Thy had me thinking oh that place is trash and then they'd go best clinic there is in Seattle and I was just confused. Omygoodness and then the ending was rushed or something was just weird because the fact that they just suddenly graduated was just like okay then for me.. And I don't know I feel she ran out of things to say or just didn't really make the program they were in clear for how log thy were in and out blah blah blah I was just confused so yeah. But i enjoyed all Shirley talks, they made me happy and the ending didn't sell it for me. less

Nearly rated r due to language and a scene in the book, but overall eye opening.

Wow. At times hard to read, but a good story of the path to recovery.
