review 1: First off, this book is phenomenal and beautifully written. I honestly think it is better to go into this book blind than to already know about the plot, but this book made me feel so many things at once, and it kept me interested. It's kind of a mix of suspense and creepiness. Generally, those books bore me. Of Scars and Stardust was such an emotional rollercoaster, and I never really got bored with the plot. I highly recommend.
review 2: JUST finished reading this book and I'm in a bit shock. It's a fantastic read (one that I had to re-read the end a few times before I got it) and I'm not sure I can mention anything without giving spoilers. I don't think it's for everyone and again, I can't send out comparisons to other novels without giving away a major plot... more-twist. It's not what I thought it would be but it's so beautifully, heart-breakingly written that I look forward to reading other books by Ms. Hannah. less
