review 1: I don't like short stories, but a full-length novel written by 26 different authors - could it possibly work? I was intrigued enough to pick up this book and I'm glad I did. It's a good murder mystery in its own right and although there is a change in writing styles, overall it works well. Not surprisingly, the chapters completed by the authors I already knew and enjoy were a well-written easy read, and there was only 1 chapter where I found the writing style irritating that got in the way of my enjoyment.
