review 1: Maybe it's because of the time between reading "Finn" and then "Finn's Christmas," but something just kind of felt -off- between the two of them. Finn has a very formal way of speech, which makes sense in the first full novel, but I would have thought maybe it would have eased up, being with Diego for so long. His 'hibernation' tendencies were cute but explained very shortly, and the resulting schmex scene seemed disjointed.I was also kind of disappointed at the final gift Finn gives Diego. The possibility of what it COULD have looked like had my immagination going, but the actual description given leaves a lot to want. =/
review 2: I loved this short follow-up to “Finn”. Diego, in particular, remains one of my favorite m/m characters. There’s just som
... moreething about his personality and how much emotion he invests in simple actions and those he loves that I’m drawn to him. It was interesting to see Finn continuing to learn about everyday things and I was in awe of the present he chose to bestow upon his hero, Diego, for Christmas! Very much looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series!!! less
