review 1: i didn't know how to rate this book actually.. there r things i hated, things i loved but it made me cry so i like it :). so let's just put it that way..*SPOILER*Things i loved:1- the writing style is just amazing.. a lot of conversations that don't make the book boring at all. the dialogue is beautifully written and it's so smooth as if u r watching a movie.2- This book was written with so much heart specially that it was about a personal loss to the author. you get that at the end of the book (the author's note)with the pictures that make u cry even more.3- it made me cry and i was a total mess after i finished reading. the end really got to me and broke my heart.4- soctt.. he's just adorable and funny. i was team scott all the way.Things i hated:1- Beth.. i don't know w... morehat kind of character is this but i really wanted to kill her so many times. sometimes she loves scott, then she loves Derek but she keeps thinking scott. i don't know i hated this. i hated that she couldn't make her mindand all she was thinking of was physical attraction. she didn't look deep inside either of them. it was ridiculous! she was so weak and let Derek just move her any way he pleases. she never said no, never asked questions and always did what she was told. it made me go craaaaazy!2- The Derek-beth relationship didn't make sense to me and was just so unrealistic. they were perfect strangers and they didn't get to know each other through out the book. 3- it was very predictable to me. i knew what was going on from the start and i don't like such books.
review 2: Don't read the entire review... I give some things away...This book kind of reminded me of a musical version of The Fault in our Stars. It made me really sad because I figured out what was going to happen, but I loved the plot. Derek annoyed me a lot at some points, though once the reader found out the whole story, everything made more sense. It was nice that the book had the theme of music ooped within it and I loved the ongoing song lyrics that Beth wrote :) less
