review 1: I accidentally stumbled across this book, and I'm glad I did. The book kept me entertained and kept me reading on to find out the fate of the characters. It was beautifully written, Angela did a wonderful job allowing the audience to get inside the characters minds and hearts, allowing us to feel every raw emotion as if we were apart of the story. The only criticism I had was the ending, although she gave two alternative endings. I'd rather her decided than leaving it up to us. And considering the type of storyline, and the way in which the story was heading, I thought there would only be one alternative. Which involved a HAPPY ending for alison and darcy...I really didn't want to add any spoilers but I couldn't help myself :(Why why why why did darcy call Sam??? I sympath... moreise that darcy didn't learn of doc's health problem until after he had died, but she knew how much alison cared for her and how deeply she loved her. As much as it hurt darcy, she should have realised that it was hurting alison alot more to not be near darcy both physically and mentally, and despite what she was going through she still wanted to be with her. In saying that I think if doc wasn't ill, Alison would have had no choice but to leave him and be with darcy. I felt the chemistry through the pages lool.
review 2: I was drawn to the cover, and the summary was decent at best. So I made the decision to buy this book. I wasn't disappointed with it. It was a lovely read and it was nice of the author to provide alternate endings. I liked reading about Alison and Darcy, and both endings provided were good but I think I would have preferred an ending where babies didn't happen. Good book and the characters were relatable. less
