review 1: I enjoyed this story very much. I learned a lot about circus life back in the day of the "freak" shows or the sideshows. The story traveled between the l930's and present day. A woman inherits a house that has been called the Midget's house. As she tries to figure out why and who lived there years before, she senses that someone or some thing is still in the house. This was an extremely entertaining story. I would recommend it to anyone who likes history, learning new things, a bit of a mystery and an quick read.
review 2: I wavered between giving this 4 or 5 stars. I decided to give it a 4 because of "bedroom scenes." I kept thinking about the book after I finished it. I picked it up again last night, trying to find where I'd left off. I finally found m... morey last note at approximately 60% through the book. I would read along, & think, "I've already read this." It did help to read the last half of the book again. I finally got it sorted out in my mind & haven't had Lucinda & Marisa running around in my mind taking my thoughts off of daily tasks. less
