Great late 19th and early 20th century history lesson of the west including their Alaskan adventure during the Alaskan Gold Rush. The story draws you in and keeps your attention. Josephine has amazing adventures while all the time trying to rewrite history to keep not only her story but the legend of Wyatt Earp told the way she saw fit.
review 2: Wyatt Earp is buried in a Jewish cemetery. Who knew? This book explores Wyatt's wife's story, which is intertwined with his own. Josephine Marcus Earp was a Jewish girl, daughter of Prussian immigrants, who became Wyatt Earp's (third) common law wife. The author de... morescribes her travels through the Wild West and to Alaska with great vividness. I also enjoyed reading about disputes regarding the Earp history and book rights. I highly recommend the book. less
