review 1: Very well written account of the story of Josephine Marcus Earp, Wyatt Earp's common-law wife and the person behind the image we have of Wyatt Earp. Great late 19th and early 20th century history lesson of the west including their Alaskan adventure during the Alaskan Gold Rush. The story draws you in and keeps your attention. Josephine has amazing adventures while all the time trying to rewrite history to keep not only her story but the legend of Wyatt Earp told the way she saw fit.
