review 1: Ann Mayburn, Blushing Violet...a sweet story, good tale, well written (a few spelling and syntax errors); lonely girl goes online for her dream Dom/date, and two men who are roommates, both see her profile. They both wasn't her, so they both date her, competing with each other to win her. Gee, I wonder what will happen? What I enjoyed most about this book was the female character's growth, from self-denigrating, scared, and acquiescent, to confident, strong, loving...all due to her relationship with these two men.
review 2: I enjoyed the book, however, it would have rated higher if they hadn't fallen into bed together so quickly. It wasn't so much that they slept together, but that they were involved in a dominant/submissive relationship so fast. At one point, ... moreon their first date I might add, Carlos asks Violet if she trusts him and she says yes. At this part I was rolling my eyes with frustration. She would have had to be an idiot to put so much trust in a man she just met. That being said, I understand it's fiction so I still enjoyed the story, but it made me take pause. less
