review 1: The wright expression in english, i think, is Tit for Tat! Give as good as you get...Well you most certainly get a lot of that is this book. This book starts with a sad, sad reality of our current society...Juliet and Sara's parents divorce. Bo matter what happens in a relationship, children shouldn't be a casualty of divorce. What kind of parent, human being does that...You have two characters who's childwood somehow defined their core and actions as grow ups. This is a very long novel, but it brings really long laughts!I can't decide what part i love more...the back injurie along with the black eye, the glue and a black eye matching the other one and i've got say that faking amnesia and saying that he only remembers his wife Juliet is brilliant. This is my second book by An... morena Mara and i've notested that her female characters have a loooot of resistance towards sex! LOLTowards the end i though...he's ex is not really pregnant and then...its awfull and then...why couldn't have endend with them finding their way in the marriage or with Juliet being pregnant herself...?! I was sad.I've came to the conclusion that Anna Mara writes very long novels, but with sudden and shorts ends. But i love her stories, i think they will make great romantic comedie movies. And i'm looking forward reading more of her work.
review 2: It takes a lot for me to delete a book, but this one did it. I made myself finish the book, but it was like watching a car crash. I WANTED to look away, but I felt compelled. And not in a good way. I found both characters extremely unlikeable. Especially Juliet. The “pranks” she pulled on Romeo should have resulted in a restraining order – not romance.**Mild spoilers below:**And the hijinx! I tried describing to my boyfriend some of the wackiness that happens (crushed t.v., glue mishap, accidental near-manslaughter, etc.). By the time I hit the fake amnesia he pled migaine. He didn’t even make it to the fake wedding (that turns out to be real that turns out to be invalid), the fire, the ol’ “ex turning up pregnant”… Sweet Mercival Zeus… and I’m probably forgetting some. « Hide SpoilerListen to Nancy Reagan. Just say, “No.” less
