Stories of Serendipity
review 1: It's been a really long time since I rated a book 4 stars. I liked this book. It has a beautiful love story, a little supernatural and even a treasure hunt. What's not to like? The story lost a star because I thought that Claire was to bitchy. Max gave her his heart from the beginning and she just keeps stomping on it and later all she has to say was sorry. I know it's because of her trusting issues but still it bothered me. Sorry! Apart from the bitchiness I loved the book and enjoyed reading it. Love the ghost of a little girl drawing circles. That was fun.I recommend this book to anyone who wants an easy romance to relax with.
review 2: Claire inherits a run-down house in a small Texas down that has a rumor of gold hidden on it. After breaking up with her fi
... moreancé, Claire moves into the house with plans to fix it up and turn it into a B&B. Her neighbor Max is licking his own wounds, having lost his wife five years ago and having trouble moving on. Max rescues Claire when she falls into an old well. They are attracted to each other, but neither is looking to get involved with anyone. After a few days Max does decide he'd like to get to know Claire better, but here's where the book got annoying. Claire would encourage Max, and then get mad and fight with him. Over and over, she sent so many mixed signals that is surprising Max was even speaking to her by the end of the book. less

Oh how I loved this story, Max and Claire's chemistry and Edie and her little creepy ass circles.
