review 1: So this is my first Anne Jolin book, and i know it is the second in the Rock Falls series but it did not matter one bit that i was reading the second book, it can easily be read as a stand alone novel. Yeah some of the characters appear in book one but that really did not diminish the story. Lennon is our female lead and i loved her to bits, i totally related to her not letting people in incase they break who she has become. But lets face it who would not let Jami into their lives after Lennon and Jami's first encounter - yep it was scorchio hot. In addition that boy is relentless when he wants something he goes after it, and despite what we all may think of this method the way he does it is so sweet. Now those of you who read my blog know i do not give away the plot fully... more as it distracts from reading the story, but i hope you agree with me that date #1 post new years was super adorable. Jami sets the bar high for real life men in the way he is so natural with his methods.Malibu Barbie in Choosing Henley is completely abhorrant, she is disgusting. I loved all the supporting characters and i feel Peyton has an important story to tell, please Anne Jolin tell me Peyton's story is in the works as well as Jay's. Saying that at the end of the book is a teaser to book three and i cannot wait to get my hands on that story, as well as book 1 when i get the chance.
review 2: Loving this series !! OMG Beatle , I really cannot get enough of JAMI !!!!!!! So of course this is Lennon and Jami's story and it is HOT and heartbreaking and WOW. We know enough about them from book 1 to see they have an undeniable attraction but out of fear they ignore , or try to ignore their feelings which only ends up hurting themselves and driving everyone else crazy !! After their drunken night together , which let's just say the flashbacks are WOW , the tension is on high and the game is on. Lennon hates seeing Jami with other girls but at the same time Jami seems to be wasting time until Lennon comes around. Will Lennon break down and choose Jami Henley or will she suffer in silence ?? We start out months after their drunken night. Jami is always bringing Malibu Barbie around and Lennon is starting to lose her patience. After a crazy New Year's resolution by Jami , Lennon really has no choice anymore but to face her feelings and see where things go with Jami. Jami is a great guy , OMG swoon !! He may have been a player but he is all in when it comes to Lennon. He has no problem expressing his feelings and despite her resistance he does not give up on making her love him. Really we all know she does , she is just afraid to admit it. Lennon has Daddy issues and because of this she has never been able to love or trust another guy. It is wonderful and HOT to watch them fall in love and break down the walls in between !! On the verge of realization something happens that threatens to change lives forever. Lennon decides she is done holding back and she goes all in too !! The epilogue is FABULOUS. I am so thrilled at the thought of hearing more about their lives together in the next books. Jami is ELECTRIC , seriously hot as sin , the SEX OMG I am in love and in line for a turn with Jami !! I love everything about him , the alpha dominant side , the romantic and loving side , the protective and not taking any crap side !! He really is the whole package. Lennon is pretty awesome too and they do make a great pair !! I loved getting bits and pieces of Greyson and Hannah , their HEA is moving along nicely and I love this whole group of friends !! Beth is struggling in this story but the lead in to the next book is great. I am looking forward to more more and more !! less
