review 1: I bought this at the BBW book sale right before my final exam. At the time all I think about is buying more chick lits cause Im tired of reading serious stuff. But I didnt read this until after the exam. This is a very light reading, probably suitable for teenage girls of 13-19 years old. Theres not much of lovey dovey elaboration. Its mainly just about Alex whom is too busy with her work, so messed up and not being able to accept help from everyone around her. She has a famous mother who always make things revolve around her making Alex to be very opposite from her mother. Very strict, organized and not knowing when to have fun. She dont even take good care of her house, her laundry or cooking. So she hired a maid, which turns out to be a man. Blabla and she discovered ab... moreout it and had a fight with the man, but she actually have some saboteur in her work place so she asked the man to become a spy at her workplace. The man, Frankie turned out to be very nice so she decided to be with him. The endddd.
review 2: this book made me laugh so hard. The main characteris a woman who is so busy she puts an ad in the paper for a wife. Someone to do the cooking, cleaning, and errands. Then her mother falls and brakes her arm so she needs someone to step in there too. What she gets is a man who can do all of those things. He is the "perfect wife." I loved it. When I was working full time I decided that I needed a wife. So I understand where she was coming from. It was a cute book. less
