review 1: Tohle je pro me 2.5 hvezdicek. Autor pise ctive a ubiha to. Nekdy dost neohrabana anglictina, ale je to preklad, takze chyba nemusi byt na strane autora. Autor se opravdu hodne snazi napsat vicevrstevny, prekvapivy, politicko/sociologicko/moralisticky pribeh. Ale kazi mu to minimalne pro me postavy. Jedna vedle druhe je neuveritelna. Chovaji se divne, jejich motivace je opravdu nerealisticka, nektere zvraty jsou viditelne uz z dalky. Ale udrzelo me to az do konce, i kdyz potencialni pokracovani teda cist nebudu.
review 2: I struggled through to page 218 of this poorly written mess. The three exclamation marks after someone's name were the last straw after having dealt with pages and pages of annoying and confusing point of view changes. I tried to be charitable... more and attribute most of the errors to translation from the French version, but they can't all have been introduced then. A decent editor may have been able to salvage a reasonably entertaining novel out of this mess, but it doesn't look like one was available. less
