review 1: I love, love, loved this book series, it was my first introduction to Anya Bast's novels and I can happily say my world is a little bit brighter because of her enchanting worlds. The series this novella belongs to was wonderfully written with a great balance of action, thrills and my favourite part romance!! Bast puts a lot of time into her character development and the series left me wanting more from Micah's character, so I was obviously thrilled when I found this!!As the disclaimer states this should not be read until you have completed the full series as it contains some spoilers. Overall while I really enjoyed getting a little bit more from the characters in this novella I thought it was rather rushed and would have enjoyed a little more development. It seemed to me t... morehat alot of time went into the first half of this piece but the ending was lacked a lot of detail that could have just pushed it over the edge, and while it provides us with a happy ending for the characters within I was still left wanting more!
review 2: It was nice to see the Micah's story, BUT it was sooo short it actually irritated me with the speed that story between the two characters happened... it was just too fast, and I never got that lost in the story feeling. Micah could've easily had his own full length book and while I appreciate the Author giving us this HEA for Micah and that it was free, (I would've been irritated to have paid even a little for it) I would've gladly paid full price for a regular length book. This book even with the HEA left me feeling placated and not happy. less
