review 1: I rate this 3.5 stars Ava is a 22 year old who looks 16, with frizzy Carrott coloured hair who wears skinny jeans and sweat shirts with multicoloured converse. Not your archetypal music teacher... And her whole world is about to change with the new job as music teacher to the 8 year old daughter of Nathan Darke. The story is set in the Yorkshire moors (I'm a Yorkshire lass myself ;) in howarth. The story begins with ava accepting the agency position of music teacher to 8 year old rosie. After driving from North London to Yorkshire in the pouring rain and thinking she has become lost on the moors, she comes to a stop at the imposing gate of Nathan Darke. He ends up bumping into the back of her car and they proceed to have a slanging match (not knowing he's her new boss) whi... morech ends with her throwing up down his car door! So she ends up in the house troughing lamb hotpot and proving her skills on her violin, which wows Nathan. A little slow to start but then it suddenly lurches into sexual contact and it's not too long before Nathan is offering to buy her clothing - from Harvey Nicks no less - after inviting her to a "do" Harvey Nicks? I’m more a Next chick if I’m honest…Now I know up north we're not backwards in coming forward, but really? Touching her beasts after a day of knowing her...? Most employers would be up on a sexual harassment charge. :-/ And telling her to have a day off.... She hasn't even started the job yet.? One thing that gets me in these stories that I love so much, is that they take the job but never seem to do any work. I know it would be boring but it would be convincing to have a little part where they actually work. ANYWAY.... She goes on about her tiny tits too much.. WAY too much! Yes, we know you have tiny tits Ava so please, stop already!Grievances aside, this story is hot and Nathan is very dominant which I love. His dominance makes me tingle and that is just what I look for in a story like this. Holy hell, I was drooling at his words from more than my mouth! Plenty kinky fuckery to be had here! The story also had wit and made me smile as well as tingle.. Double whammy. But don't take my word for it, read it yourself. ;-) “Don’t let go of the seat, and don’t try to cover yourself again, or I’ll tie you to that chair.” His voice is firm—I think he actually means it. In fact, I know he does. The unexpected surge of wetness between my legs is incredible. Warm, tingling. He lightly tips my chin up with his finger, forcing eye contact again. “Got that, Miss Byrne? Are we clear?”^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ H O T ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^To sum it up, and minor gripes aside, I enjoyed this book and look forward with anticipation to the next one. It was dirty, dominant and horny as hell! ;-D
review 2: I love this trilogy! It really is a fabulous storyline and the protagonists are quite unique and very likeable characters.I love the BDSM scenes - they are very well written and well thought-out by the author.I also appreciate the fact that Eva (the heroine) experienced very challenging personal and emotional issues, which made her "more real" to the reader.This story kept me interested all the way through the 3 books! I was desperate to learn how Nathan and Eva's relationship progressed and I wasn't disappointed.I highly recommend it! less
