Pete the Cat Storytime at my NEW Library!

It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted, and that’s because I moved on to a new library! I started here at Victor Farmington Library in May, and jumped right into Summer Reading planning, then enjoyed my first summer here, so it’s been pretty busy!

Anyway, we started our Fall storytime session this week, and for this session I’ll be doing a new author or character each week. First up was, of course, Pete the Cat!  We read three Pete books, had fun with a Four Groovy Buttons “flannel” board activity, and danced to Mr. Eric’s Jumping Song by Eric Litwin, as well as his  Itsy Bitsy Spider song, which features a Big Fuzzy Spider. The Big Fuzzy Spider always gets lots of giggles.

The other authors I plan to do this session are Adam Rubin, Adam Lehrhaupt, Keith Baker, Mo Willems, Herve Tullet, Viviane Schwarz, Ed Emberley, Jan Thomas, and Bob Shea.  It’s going to be an awesome Fall!
