review 1: I liked this book and there were definitely a few times where I did not want to put it down. However, there was an awful lot going on, some of which I think detracted from the story. It took a long time before Tayla met Beast and I felt like I had to wade through everything else to get to the parts I was really interested in.I did not know this was a trilogy when I started the book and had I known, I'm not sure I would have picked it up. That's not to say this book wasn't worthwhile, I'm just getting a little burned out on trilogies and waiting so long for the happy endings.Tayla is an interesting character and Beast has a lot of unexplored potential that I'm sure will come out in the next two books.
review 2: This was unexpectedly good.I didn't expect that
... moreto come out when I read the blurb. I mean, I had some guesses but not this absolutely amazing story.Aside from some stupid choices Tay makes, that are really plot devices, this book was awfully great. :))That Kyle is so messed up, I'm glad of his encounter with Beast in his wolf form :))) that was awesome.I am so sad that the curse affects the wolves like that. I think that's a first for werewolf folklore. Can't wait to read the next book. I'm so glad it's out because otherwise it would have been a nasty end. less
