review 1: Years ago I was reading my way through yet another of the Thieves World books, long after I had stopped enjoying them. Because I have issues with completing things and because occasionally a story would be really good. I have always remembered the Greens, who desired to leave the world, but could not, until all their duties and responsibilities had been completed.I thought of them as Clementine bulldozed her way through her last thirty days. She was trying very hard to tie up the loose ends, even though some days, the depression left her nonfunctional. I loved Clementine, and can understand why she wanted to go.I also loved how, once she made up her mind to go, she felt free to do the things that good manners and social expectations kept her from doing be... morefore.
review 2: It is an easy read and gives an insight to people with mental illness. I also liked that the maincharacter, Clementine, is an artist and describes her work, as she is creating it. You discover early on that Clementine is suicidal and decides to kill herself in 30 days. The books describes each day as she tries to tie loose ends and put her affairs in order.
