review 1: The first volume had more of Saya and her amnesia. This volume had more action and fighting. Charles kidnaps Riku, Saya's younger brother, and uses him to lure Saya into his trap. I was very surprised that we were shown a softer side to Charles and let us see a kind side to him that longs for someone to love him without fear. Charles has quickly become one of my favorites. Kai wasn't in this volume much, but he did do his headbutting-thing again- but this time with a table. He sure likes to smash his skull around. At the end of this volume, Saya regains her memories, with the help of Hagi, and she is now on a mission to kill Diva. More mystery to unravel, but I'm excited to read more!
review 2: The story deepens as Saya learns more about her past. Charles is te
... moresting Saya by trying to recreate a massacre from the Vietnam War Saya took part in, only with vampires. It seems however that Chales is merely a pawn in a far larger game. We also have a bit of a love triange emerging between Saya, her loyal follower Hagi and her foster brother Kai. Some really nice artwork, the blacked out monster faces reminiscent of Hellsing. Charles is brilliant in this one and we start to see his softer side as he interacts with his human kidnap victim Saya's foster brother Riku. A nice parallel to Saya - we get to see a little of her humanity as well in her loyalty to her family and her horror as she learns chiropterans were once humans. less

It has different things, if you're looking for the same story you got the wrong manga.
