review 2: I finished the last page of the book and I felt the difficulty to come here to write a
... more review. I know that many have read this book, but I just read it now and had no idea he would become so important in my life. I leave this reading with the same feeling that comes from reading the book The Shack, despite The Dreamseller is not as focused on religion, thought that was what made it so special, it shows that an atheist, Catholic, Buddhist, Jewish, Spiritualist, or you feeding any other belief, you can apply the ideas of the book to your world, your life and especially your thoughts and actions. The story begins with a man trying to commit suicide on top of a building threatening to jump, drawing the attention of passersby and therefore the media. Not being adequately helped by a psychiatrist and not by the police, a man with the appearance of a beggar rises in the building, bypassing the authorities, comes to the suicide. This man gets a mysterious conversation that is not recorded in the studies dealing with suicide, but it works. Leaving everyone perplexed by his thoughts and way of acting, a man who is called The Dreamseller is successful in his endeavor to avoid the suicide of Julius Caesar and calling to follow him in a walk of selling dreams.                                                                       The book is narrated in first person by the character of Julius Caesar and tells the story of how he was following the The Dreamseller, learning about their philosophy and surprising all the people with his ideas. The thoughts that are placed in this book are of extremely high quality, ideas that should be analyzed and considered by all, to be included in your daily life. With this book I learned to see the world in which we live and the prejudices that we constantly feed. For example: Do you dare to dance in the street? You judge people who sing high when they are walking? Just tell me why, why this seems so crazy to you? It is wrong to be happy? The most surprising thing in this book is how the matters discussed not only subvert the characters, but also the readers, is a true book addressing issues that we identify all the time. The author, Augusto Cury, is Brazilian and the story takes place in Brazil, I loved it. I look forward to reading the next volumes. less

Repetitive and bland. I tried to get through it but reading 60 pages was enough.
