review 1: I recently read the new book in the Assumption series andhad to go back and read this series! I fell in love with all the characters againand loved the way Kenton's stories tied in. He is mentioned throughout and you don't really appreciate that until you read his story!!Miss Reynold's really gets the (badass) alpha male thing and you can really tell who some of herinfluences are (KA anyone!!)but in a totally good way lol
review 2: So I went into this series box set just looking for an easy alpha romance type genre read. I wasn't disappointed at all. Only ONE true issue for me was the typos or omitted words. That being said it wasn't extremely painful to deal with and easy enough to keep reading. I wish I'd marked this box set "currently reading" when I started... more it. That way I could see how long it took me to read all 4 books. Probably not too long since I don't feel I out them down often lol.The humor, brother love, man friendship love, female love interest aka THE BOOM to each Mayson brother, and eventually even the children were fun to read. Action spun in and physical description of characters were fun too.Maybe some of the names brought up like November's BFF who we never "met" in any form could have been more present, but other than that these 4 books were steamy, fun, action, and good vibing (not a word? Yeah, but it should be) reads. And, if I had to pick a favorite Mayson it'd be Nico. less
