review 1: Got this book as a freebie. Lately the freebies I have picked up have pretty much sucked. This one was the exception. I really loved the writing style of Ms. Boone. The story was very good, and the sex was super hot IMO. I'm giving this a 3 1/2, would have been a solid 4 for me if I could have believed the ending more. I liked that the ending surprised me though. I'm definitely going to check out more of Azure Boone's books.
review 2: Interesting story, but too many unbelievable aspects. I enjoyed the authors writing style...however...I would have rated 3-4 if not for the ending which was so fricken ridiculous and stupid I'm still irritated. Because of it, I probably won't read the author again, I want to enjoy a book, not be pissed off. Yes it was a 'twi... morest'. But the twist makes the MC look like a complete moron (really? she didn't notice? and she's okay with this? W.T.F.) and makes the love interest just plain creepy and twisted. The whole situation is just too unbelievable. less
