review 1: I liked the plot of this book and the twists and turns it took. However, the methods the author takes in transitioning, especially for a mystery novel, are not quite what I'd expect, nor do i prefer. Also, while I appreciate her views on religion and being against swearing, I find it odd the way she goes about incorporating it into the story as it veers off the track of the plot and makes me want to skip over the entire paragraph. I don't think I'll be reading any more of the series, but I didn't hate it.
