review 1: When I started reading, the book was going to be a 5 star read. However once I got to about 80%, the story quickly took a turn to 1 star. The reason for the huge drop was because I'm not into gay (two men) erotica. I wish there would have been a warning prior to purchase. I'm no longer interested in the author so this is my first and last and I would not recommend.Nonetheless, I want to state it was a good book with characters you could connect to but the home stretch (wrap up stage) dramatically reduced the 5 star rating. Overall average is 3.
review 2: I was hesitant to spend over 7.00 for a digital book but glad I did. This was one that was difficult to put down. The story was not a rehash of so many other books in this genre, but one that made me want to la... moreugh and cry. I had to set it down more than once because parts of this story are just disturbing and sad. Ash and Noah as well as the supporting characters made for a truly mesmerizing read. Not for the faint of heart With plenty of steamy sex scenes laced with humor that I won't soon forget. Definitely a 5 star for me because I know I'll read it again. less
