review 1: Started of the book to kill time and to be frank i loved the way it is written ...Its typically the story of a Muslim who goes to middle east and the sufferings endured by him as a slave and how he escapes from there and comes back to India .The Arab there gives more importance to water and never allowed him to even take bath and this makes him think of his homeland and how he used to be always submerged in water twice a day.His companion dies whereas he was able to survive and an unknown stranger shows him the way to water and guides him to cross the desert and disappears suddenly which makes us believe that there is a hidden force (Allah or God) that helped him survive.The Nostalgic depiction adds to the beauty of the story
