review 1: I rated this book as good because it provides an accurate chronology of events leading up to the Kennedy Assassination. Otherwise, this book revealed nothing new, no uncovered or hidden factual information that other writers left undiscovered. I am not a fan of Bill O'Reilly's style of journalism or reporting and this book did nothing to change my opinion of his reporting style. The book read like sound bites and not well-written history.

And I really appreciated that he didn't get involved in all the conspiracy theories that surround the Kennedy assassination. ... moreour own conclusions about why he was killed. The big weakness I kept seeing was way too much foreshadowing. "Campaigning is hard and it took Jackie longer to pull herself together that day. But her coming day would age her thirty years" written about the day of the shooting. Yeah, okay Captain Obvious, thanks for that. Otherwise, a decent read. I'll try his other "Killing" books. less
