review 1: I liked this book, because it got me to think what would the world be like if there were no adults! It was a really cool setting to have the book in an amusment park where it's supposed to be all about fun and laughter and where it quickly turned into a place of safety and strength for the kids. My favorite part would have to be when they said farewell to the adults because it was such a beautiful moment. I would totally be dead right now if I was in that book.... creepy!!! :)
review 2: This is pretty much Lord of the Flies meets City of Ember. It has alot of the same ideas of resorting basic instincts and the survival of the fittist. Like both of those books this one centers around children and them growing into adults without adults. They have to provide f
... moreor themselves and along the way some of those kids end up trying to rule the other kids. Its a good, mostly fast paced story that ends with the seemingly weak kids coming together to beat back the kids that have lost thier way and gone to a darker place. less
