review 1: I am disappointed. First I was annoyed at Ben because he couldn’t get his head out of his ass and tell Travis that he wanted him to stay. Then I thought it was very unrealistic that Travis was suddenly okay with being gay after a lifetime of being with women. Last, I thought the book was very rushed. Brad Boney could have slowed it down a little and explain some of the emotions a little more. I had high expectations for this one and I was disappointed.

To complicate things there’s Travis, a straight mechanic who lives across the street.The nothingness of Ben was an entertaining read, if a little shallow (I felt like the death of the parents was treated with superficiality), but I enjoyed watching Ben growing through the difficulties and gradually becoming a better brother, person and, finally, lover.[3.5 stars] less
