review 1: RENEE by Author Brandie Davis is one of the best books I read by a new author.Renee is molested by her step father and verbally abused by her mother. Renee turns her pain into becoming a ruthless queen-pin in New York.As she controls New York., Renee can not escape her past and knows that she must one day face her past to allow herself to find peace and happiness.Renee is a fast pace novel. The story line will capture you from the beginning and pull you in, the story line was vivid. The characters were great and well believed,characters that you will not forget.I would definitely recommend this book to all readers. Book Clubs this book will make a great book discussion.Author Brandie your deduct novel was very well written. You have gained a reader... more fan.
review 2: Brandie writes like a pro and not as a first time author! She developed a character as Shrek would say with so many layers! She takes you on a journey to peel the layers away and then when all is revealed you learn the meaning of it all. Or do you? There was so much going on it did take a while to process everything, but boy once I started putting the pieces together I couldn't swipe fast enough to turn the page! Renee is full of drama, betrayal, deceit, lies, murder and the ending leaves you wanting more! Don't sleep on Ms. Davis, she's one to watch! I look forward to reading part two :D less
