review 1: Horrible. The heroine was so dislikable that I couldn't bear to read this book at times. Slater seemed like he could be a good hero, but he was such a wuss. If someone were such a constant bitch to me (literally constantly), I would make it a point to not be around them. Thus, this story was unbelievable. It also felt like there was a lot of backstory missing here so I spent far too much time going "huh?" Even though I read the whole thing, this book is making me create a DNR shelf so I don't make the mistake of reading something else by this author.
review 2: Jess is not your typical female werewolf she is not only a wolf but psychic to boot. She is also not the submissive type she may be small but she packs one hell of a punch. After years of avoiding her Al
... morepha’s advances she gets drunk one night and does the unthinkable. If Gregory was a pain before he was bound to get 10 times worse. So Jess does the only thing she can do, she moves to another pack with the promise of a fresh start and the ability to see her dreams of owning her own bar made a reality. What she didn't count on was Slater. Then again he wasn't quite ready for Jess either. Slater has already had and lost a mate and has no intention of putting himself in that position again. Liam is off his freaking rocker hearing voices in his head and assuming that everyone is out to get him. Liam forms a not so healthy fixation on new comer Jess and vows to take her out along with his Alpha Slater and run the pack himself. This is a great start to what I am sure will be an amazing series. Packed full of sass, plots, steamy scenes and visions of the future. You can’t go wrong I hope you pick up your copy today and make sure you have time on your hands you will not want to put this down. less

Annoying h, spineless Alpha?!, repetitive writing, rushed world building and overall boring book.

Would have been a four, but I didn't like the main female character. She was a bit annoying.

Love all her books. But, I'm glad I finally got to read Jess & Slater's story.
