review 1: This was a sweet, fun story with characters that were likeable, yet frustrating at times.Willow Michaels and Clint Cameron make a great team and Clint was the object of a long ago crush for Willow. But, Willow's life has been full of hurt for many years. She is now trying to make a success of herself while dealing with a troublesome personal issue that makes her very protective of her independence.Clint has had his own share of pain growing up and has become a real caregiver and rescuer to those he cares about. But, is a rescuer what Willow need? The battle of Willow's need for independence and Clint's desire to help and protect her makes for an enjoyable story.
review 2: enjoyed the down-to-earth characters. most of us struggle, no matter what our bank accoun... moret balances, or our lineage, nor ... we ALL struggle w/ insecurities and limitations of SOME kind. i could REALLY relate to the female male character. going thru some health problems of my own that make me "fear" losing my husband, and/or being of no use as a mother, etc. it's something i have to fight hard on the bad days. felt good to be reminded that i am NOT the only one in that "club"! was even nicer to have reminders that not ALL people are like the "Brad"'s of the world, either! less
