review 1: I read this book awhile ago, but it is defiantly a re-read. I loved how sweet Tucker treated Penelope. Tucker was hiding from the world, and he was shocked when He heard a female voice in the middle of nowhere. He came to her aid when a bear almost attacked Penelope. She was such a strong person. She came from money, but when she was thrown in a situation of having to live with the very basics, she never complained. She embraced everything thrown her way with a positive attitude. The missionary’s in this story also captured my heart. I loved this story, and plan to re-read it very soon.
review 2: This is the 5th book in this series and another great read. I love Treasure Creek. In this book Penelope is a heiress who has also fallen in love with Treasure Creek
... more, she loves the way the town pulls together and their faith. She gets lost and is found by Tucker who has been missing for several months. Tucker is everything Penelope doesn't want in a husband but the type of man her father would pick, hes a lawyer in a good practice. But Tucker is also running from something and not all he seems just like Penelope. I love the way Brenda had weaved this story and how she shows how so many people put people in a box without really getting to know them or seeing they are more than a label. This was a great read and I really cant wait to obtain the final book in this series. less
