review 1: If you're in Anglophile from the US like myself, this is a really interesting book to read. I feel like if you are English though you probably know most of this stuff already. There wasn't terribly much that was revealed, but there were lots of interesting looks into the way of world household is run. Definitely a fun easy read if you're interested in royalty, but I think the book needed a little bit of editing help.
review 2: This was an okay book although there wasn't enough about the corgis. The title comes from a statement that some of the Buckingham Palace staff make regarding topics that might be overheard by the Queen (since the corgis are always in her company). If you want to know how much each of the Royals receive to run their homes and how much th
... moreeir staff is paid then this is the book for you. It was a quick read but not a keeper. less
