review 1: This book is about a young woman, Becca, who comes from a prominent family in Grand Rapids, returning from College to start working for the Conklin family as a junior architect. On her first day at work she meets Tyler Conklin and feels an instant attraction.Tyler feels the same attraction for Becca but has never had a real relationship so he doesn't know how to handle it. Not to mention he feels that he needs to hide the relationship from anyone he is related to.Trying to hide the relationship just causes stress for Becca as she feels that he is ashamed of her. This eventually causes problems between the two of them. Really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more about the Conklins.
review 2: I'm always sad when I feel I can't finish a book. It sta... morerted out fine and drew me in, then down the crapper in went. The heroine was such a doormat, I couldn't read more. Her fiance cheats with her childhood friend, who is a complete douchebag. Betrayal and more follow. Then the final straw, the 'friend' wants her to design a dream house for her and the former fiance....and....she agrees to do it because she can't say no??!! Sorry, I don't play dat. less
