review 1: HOT-HOT-HOT!Phantoms' Pleasure is book two in the erotic menage series Circle of Three by Brynn Paulin. I loved this story. Super Hot with M/F/M and M/M scenes that are so hot you'll need a cold shower. The story is about a woman who divorced her abusive husband two years prior. As a prestigious doctor, he managed to get her fired from her nursing job and spread slanderous rumors about the reason they split. Tired of restraining orders going no where and being portrayed as the villain, she travels to visit her cousin in the three-way town of cranston. While there, she meets two gorgeous men who change her mind about conventional relationships and open her mind and heart to a poly-amorous relationship. The story isn't all sexy and happiness. She tries to let go of th... moree past abuse, but her ex isn't letting her go. She's stalked, tormented, and abducted. When arrests are made, she's finally able to put it behind her and move on her with men. This story is so hot that I read it twice and will probably read it again in the near future.
review 2: While it seems a little far-out to think that a girl visiting her cousin's town of trios would so easily fall in with a couple, if you suspend that part of reality, it was a pretty good story. It seems a little strange as well that with her ex being her only previous partner, she had no trouble with the fact that she wouldn't recognize her lovers on the street the next day. But I guess she was OK with that. Her ex was a psycho! Totally understandable why she divorced him. For that matter... Tamera's ex. WTF? Someone needs lessons in letting go. Glad to see what happened in the end. It's a permanent menage (heck, the whole town is), so if that's not your thing, this wouldn't be for you. less
