review 1: Okay, I'll come clean: I didn't finish it. But, I enjoyed the beginning somewhat because Lizzy and Darcy always have my heart. It just went on and on with so little plot, it seemed more like a personal diary type thing and lets face it, diary reading can be very repetitive and boring to anybody else but the writer. Plus, another 200 pages of the same just wasn't enticing enough to finish. I may read the last chapter just to see how it ends. I think if the author had cut out half and developed a clearer picture of the plot it would've been a much better novel all around.
review 2: Mr. Darcy's Little Sister is a continuation of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice, with the focus on Mr. Darcy's sister Georgiana. While most teenage girls are excitedly anticipating the
... moreir debuts into society, the painfully shy Georgiana awaits the Season in dread of making mistakes and embarrassing herself and her family. As an avid Jane Austen fan, I found it fun to read this sequel and get deeper into the relationship between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy after their marriage, as well as the relationship between Elizabeth and her new sister-in-law. The disappointing part about the book is that it lacks the wit of the Jane Austen originals, but the continuation of Pride & Prejudice was believable and entertaining. less

This was a fun read. I liked how she picked up right where Pride and Prejudice left off.
