review 1: You won't know at the end of the book. Had I known I wouldn't find out I probably would have skipped the book. I don't like to be roped in and then have to buy another book to find out the ending.I love dogs and murder mysteries but there were too many dogs and owners to keep track of. I would rather have had more details on the characters than so many details on how to make mosaic pavers.Probably won't read subsequent books just because I found myself skipping over so many irrelevant details. BTW, you eat desSert not desert!
review 2: Pretty good for a free kindle book. I am a sucker for cozy mysteries and since I take my Siberian husky to the dog park frequently I had to give this one a try. I was not disappointed. Sometimes I had difficulty keeping character... mores straight in my head, but for the most part following a long was easy. It was intriguing reading the killer's thoughts in the italicized sections. It added something special and I was surprised by the ending when I thought I had it all figured out. I will be reading the next one when I get the chance. less
