review 1: More like 3.5 stars really. I really, really, really wanted to love this book, but somehow just could not get past "it was ok". The sex scenes became very long & way too descriptive with things that I didn't think needed explaination. Towards the end, I was skimming my way thru the sex. The MC's never seemed to make love...they just seemed to have wild monkey sex every.single.time. they got together. I have loved everything from this author in the past and I wanted to love this book since it was dedicated to me. (I am so humbled & honored that she did that) But bottom line...I couldn't love it. Sorry Cameron.
review 2: I'm used to the highly erotic titles Loose Id releases, especially Cameron Dane's work, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that this title ... morehad a nice build up to establish a relationship. But the second half of the book felt like the author, or the publishers, wanted to make up for the lack of sex scenes in the first half of the book by cramming them all in the end. Don't get me wrong, they were still steamy sex scenes and lovely to read but I found myself skimming through the many repeated phrases used during every sexual act. Hoping to see more of the cowboys' stories in this series. less
