Seeking Redemption

review 1: Cameron Dane writes some of the sexiest MM love stories around, because of this her readers expectations are pretty high but unfortunately in this case it all felt a bit flat. No amount of sex can disguise the lacklustre connection between Devlin and Gradyn/Garrick, at least Devlin has the whole 'losing his virginity' thing to justify his adoration but once Garrick returned he should have been honest about his life for the intervening five years and on bended knees begging for forgiveness!(and that whole tattoo thing? totally daft!)
review 2: I had to have this book after reading the 1st in the redemption series.I thought that the book was HOT!!!The main characters showed emotion throughout the book for each other and also for the secondary characters. Alot of ... morethese were the same characters as in the 1st book.The only problem that I had was with the amount of flashbacks we had to that one weekend 5 yrs previously. It must have taken up to about 75% into the book before we got a proper explanation of what had split them apart. I enjoyed the fight that Garrick had within himself to stop himself running after the whole spilling his guts expisode. Devlins reaction was so strong towards Garrick and keeping him from running and even after only knowing each other for a short space of time the connection between them was lovely. Because they really had only had 48hrs together and a few weeks when they met up again. I loved the whole dynamic between Grace and her kids and Garrick. I also loved how Wyn trusted Devlin enough to help him out when he needed it. less
