review 1: This is the last in the matchmaker series so the matchmaker herself, Lady Irene, finds love with the duke she rejected 15 years ago. Ever since her husband died and left her in debt she has just been scraping by in the only way she can and that is by helping young ladies become accepted into the right circles and find matches. It was interesting to finally read her story after getting hints about her past with the duke in the preceding books in the series. Now I can go on to read some more substantial books.
review 2: After reading the seriesI felt that thos was the worst one of the bunch. I dont know if it was the lack of sexual tension or drama, but I thought it was a little lack luster. in the middle of the book it seemed to drag on. and where I think there ... morewas several opportunities to expand on more interesting line. I found that the last hundred pages picked up to the same level of the older books. I still think it is good xonsidering it is the end. less
