review 1: This was a VERY fun read. The characters have a lot of depth, the secondary and supporting characters are also interesting and it was fun to learn their relationships and observe their interactions with the main couple. Especially interesting was the fact that Vicky's brother is marrying Ty's ex-girlfriend/BFF. Vicky and Ty both have interesting stories and all through the book of course I was rooting for them. She starts out as the opposing attorney in a trial regarding the death of Ty's first wife. Much emotion ensues. The journey for these two was really enjoyable, although I will admit to a little bit of eyerolling at their lack of control around each other. Hard to believe they hate each other so passionately one minute and can't keep their hands off each other... more the next. Their uncontrollable approach to sex was rather difficult to fathom, although it did not detract from the enjoyment of the read. Still 5 stars!
review 2: Fun, flirty, feisty, sexy, hysterical, drama filled, sad, heart breaking, and SO MUCH more!!!! I never thought, that I'd get ALL of that and SO much more in this story, but I was pleasantly surprised htat I did! This is Cara Connelly's 2nd book in her "Save The Date" series, although the 1st one was more of a Novella, and she does not disappoint!! In the first one, we meet Cody, and in this one, it's all about Cody's brother, Ty!Tyrell is a tortured hero, in the true sense, since his wife was killed in a car accident, caused by a drunk driver. Ty had to make the hardest decision of his life, when it came to keeping her alive on a machine or disconnecting it and letting her go forever. Vicky is the lawyer who represented the defendant in his case, and not by choice--her mother is a partner in the law firm and forced it upon her. After the disastrous trial is over and done with, Ty cannot wait to get away from it all, and more importantly, he cannot wait to get away from Victoria, whom he's come to really hate through this trial. But, the odds are against him, when they end up sitting next to each other on a flight to Europe, on the way to a wedding that they are both coincidentally attending. Both have NO clue that they are going to the same wedding though. While on the flight, Ty becomes intoxicated and gets Victoria tipsy as well. They start talking and almost join the mile high club, but Ty falls asleep while Victoria is in the bathroom. When they're ready to touch down, Ty is sickened with himself and the fact that he almost "went there" with a woman he loathes and the same woman who put him through hell during his wife's trial. Coming face to face at the same wedding is a double whammy that BOTH DO NOT know how to deal with. Ty, being best friends with the bride, and Victoria being the sister to the groom, makes for a very uncomfortable weekend ahead. Ty & Victoria, forge an agreement that they will pretend NOT to know and hate each other, so that the wedding at hand can go off smoothly and happily. Unbeknownst to Victoria, her mother has some plans of her own. She blackmails Victoria into giving her ex--whom cheated on her--another chance and she'll keep her mouth shut about knowing who Ty really is. This is an enemies to lovers story, with undeniable sparks, but a lot of hurt to overcome. Ty is a true alpha, with buried feelings. Vicky is beautiful & accomplished, but made to feel inferior by her mother & ex-fiance. She is also a bit of a klutz! There was a lot of back & forth in the romance! A nice big twist in the end too!! less

Barely 3/5 stars. Too stereotypical. Not bad, just not fabulous.
