review 1: I knew going in I would probably have a problem with this one as I don't really go for the Ménage part, but after the last two in the series I was willing to give it a try.I was certainly not disappointed and found myself completely hooked on Charlie and his journey. Sadly I could not say the same for Scott and Adan. While I get Scott and Charlie drifted apart, I cannot accept the length of time Scott left things, at least not and believe he regretted their ending.Adan I just could not warm to. A total douche bag in my mind despite his so called changing.Personally I'd of much rather seen Charlie with a third partner, one who really appreciated all of him, and left Adan and Scott to go away with the knowledge they both let a great guy slip through their fingers lol. But ... moredespite my personal feelings I found this a solid read with plenty of emotional moments to keep me happy. Oh and I just completely skipped the sex once Adan came on the scene. Pure porn, not for me.
review 2: I’ve never been a fan of 1st person story telling for romance books. The fact that it is a ménage on top of that, just doesn’t really work for me. You take the thoughts and feelings of two people out of the equation instead of just one. I did love Charlie ‘Chase’ very much. The majority of the story was from his point of view and you really get to know him. I just didn’t feel the connection with the other two MCs. less
