review 1: I did love this, and just recently discovered that this is part of an entire collection of short story M/M romances featuring time travel themes. I have decided to replace a 13 book series with a bdsm theme with 13 of these instead for a series based challenge...Anyway, this story features a movie star who is taken on a journey into his past, led by a mysterious red-headed female guide. The scenarios relived by the protagonist all focus on his bond with his best friend, a young man who has stood by him unconditionally from the time they were teenagers to present day. Each scene portrayed the striking level of devotion and fierce loyalty his friend felt for him, which fueled the repeated actions he took to defend, protect and please the young actor through the duration of t... moreheir friendship. The scenes also revealed another truth to the actor...his friend wanted him...and why didn't that bother him like it should? I mean, he was straight after all...Wasn't he???
review 2: Ginger guides Ethan through his past so he will make the discovery of why his relationships do not work out but subtle does not work with Ethan. I loved Ginger and her sarcasm. The scenes between her and Ethan are funny. I liked Ethan. He is so oblivious to what is going on around him. He just does not get it. When he does, he is surprised by what he discovers although I knew it from the beginning what it was. Fun read. less
