review 1: Easy, light, and entertaining read. The characters in the book were pretty interesting and quite colorful. Annie did do a few things in the book that were sort of annoying and just didn't seem all out smart. Besides those few things I ended up liking her by the end of the book. After reading this book first without realizing it was the third in a series, I can definitely see myself reading the previous ttwo books.
review 2: Very cheeky and predictable. Although I was really hoping that Annie wouldn't succumb to the inevitable. Svetlana's daughter was just horrible, I mean then again so was Svetlana. I guess an apple really doesn't fall far from a tree. But where does a child given up for adoption think they have the right to blackmail their birth-parent? Very t... morewisted. And marrying for money, well that's just no bueno. But my biggest problem was where the hell did Annie's savings go??? She had a decent job and her side hustle as well. Chloe and Furla are not worth it Annie! less
