review 1: Take a new girl in town with problems with housing, creating a new business, a male friend who is becoming a bit more, and throw in a murder or two. Those are the basics in the book, but Carol Ann Martin adds in colorful characters and some unusual twists. I found it fun to read and thoroughly enjoyable. It is more about the lives of the characters and how the murder(s) affect them than with gruesome details of the murder itself.
